The Fordson snow machine 1929 concept film. Baby, it's using screw drive. Uh, the Russians also made crap condition (mud n snow) tanks using this.

And then some farm/industrial equipment.

I think there were enough screw-drive Fordsons made that one could buy one if very persistent. They're rare, sure, but I don' think they're impossibly rare.
